4-Ingredient Perfect Protein Bars

I prefer the term protein bars to protein balls, but to each his own. You could make these into any shape you want and I promise they’ll still taste like a little slice of heaven.

I get asked for this recipe roughly once a DAY. It’s high time I shared it with all of you!

Let’s get right into it. If you need a finger licking and SUPER NUTRITIOUS snack option for the end of a day, post-workout treat, on-the-go snack, or complaining-nip-in-the-bud for your little hungry hippos…. look no further.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Cups Almond Butter (Maker’s Mark brand is sugar free, creamy, and only $10 for a HUGE delicious jar. Sub natural peanut butter or split into 1 C of each)

  • 1 1/4 Cups Honey or 12 oz Brown Rice Syrup (I get my wild honey at Sam’s as well in a 2 pack…delicious)

  • 2 1/4 Cups or 9 scoops Arbonne Protein Powder (chocolate or vanilla, we like to do half and half)

  • 3 C Rolled Oats (I like to do half rolled oats and half veganic sprouted half brown rice crisps from One Degree organic foods aka. HyVee health market.)

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1. Microwave almond butter and honey together for 90 seconds.

Step 2. Stir until it’s a delicious little mixture.

Step 3. Add protein powder (the brand you use matters SO SO very much for taste) and MIX.

Step 4. Add oatmeal/rice crisps and mix.

Step 5. Press into a 9×13 pan or plastic container or make into “balls” if you’re a weirdo or have kids who like snacks. You can cut them while they’re warm for easier access. You’ll thank me later.

Add granola, cacao nibs, or walnuts for flavor and texture as desired!

Eat up my little pretties! Leave me a comment below with your success or your favorite twist!
